23 Weeks

Weekly Update:

How far along: 23 weeks

How big is baby: size of a bunch of grapes, about 12 inches long

Symptoms: I’m still tired, but not quite as much as before. I’ve been able to do a few things around the house. I don’t know if it’s because we’re getting closer to spring or if I’m getting those nesting urges (which do happen even if we’re not coming home with a baby), but I have been running through a slew of projects I want to do this spring. I’m being overly ambitious and there’s no way we will get them all done, but at least I’ll have ideas for the future.

Movement: still as active as can be, even at 4am

Sleep: hit and miss, some nights are pretty good and others not so much. I bought a weighted blanket that I use if I wake up and can’t go back to sleep. It seems to work pretty well at helping me fall asleep so I’m not up for hours in the middle of the night

Food cravings? tacos, fruity candy, chicken strips

Anything making you queasy or sick? I’m doing better in this department, but not 100% yet. Too much sugar or carby things still don’t agree with me
